| Il diploma nasce dalla consapevolezza che molti sismi sono legati all’attività vulcanica e in tutti questi stati, negli ultimi 10 anni, ci sono state delle eruzioni vulcaniche rilevanti , alcune addirittura devastanti. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Il diploma consiste nell’aver
collegato il maggior numero di paesi compresi nell’elenco qui
sopra con un minimo di 15 paesi di cui almeno uno per continente. Quando
si tratta di stati insulari (come le Filippine o il Giappone, ecc) il
collegamento deve essere fatto con l’isola in cui si trova il
vulcano. Esempio per le Filippine solo con l’isola di Luzon, cosi
come per l’Italia avranno valore solo i collegamenti effettuati
con la Sicilia per l’Etna o con l’isola di Stromboli per
il vulcano Stromboli.. |

The “fire belt
award “ has been created taking in consideration that several
disasters we have unfortunately seen in the last 10 years are linked
to the volcanos’ activity. (Look at the above list 1 of states) |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The award requires contacts
with the countries in the above list, with a minimum of 15 countries
and all continents. When the country , like Philippines and Japan, are
made of several islands, the contact must be made with the island where
the volcano is located. For example if we consider the Philippines the
contact must be made with the Luzon island. For Italy the contact must
take place with Sicily for Etna or with Stromboli Island for the Stromboli
volcano. (Look at the above list 2 of volcanos) |

You have not to send
the cards, but just declare you have them and have the
application form, that is available here , signed by two amateurs
of by the Award, or Qsl manager of your club. |

The cost of the award
is 10 € or 15 $ to cover the cost of the award and the shipping
cost. |
